Making your skin lighter isn’t always an easy process, and of course it’s important to remember that if you have any reaction or negative effects from a method to not use it. Always test a small area before applying to your entire body. Speaking to a dermatologist can help you get a proper diagnosis and treatment for any skin conditions you may have.  Remember: NEVER USE REAL BLEACH ON YOUR SKIN.

Here are some home remedies you can try:

Lemon Juice: Lemon juice will take some time, but just as it can be used as a home remedy to lighten hair it can also work on your skin. It is a good idea to use fresh, organic lemons, and to squeeze the juice out, then mix with equal parts of water. You will want to dillute it so that it will not cause irritation, since too much lemon juice is acidic. Make sure you stay out of the sun when using this home remedy – or it could result in you getting sunburn badly.

Cucumber: You can easily juice a cucumber by peeling it, taking out the seeds, and then mixing it with a little water in a blender. Add a teaspoon or so of lemon juice and then apply to your skin. Again, remember to stay out of the sun and to test a smaller part of your skin to make sure no irritation occurs.

Milk and Honey: Milk and honey is another one some will try, though it does not always work as well as lemon and cucumber. Mix milk with honey and apply to skin and then rinse off after a few minutes. This will likely need to be repeated for several days before seeing any differences.
